The German Energy Academy in Jordan is pleased to announce the program of installing solar photovoltaic systems for technicians as an intensive and specialized programme in installing, operating and maintaining solar photovoltaic systems.

This programme is prepared for accreditation by German-Arab Chamber Of Industry & Commerce; It includes all phases of installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.

Trainees will acquire the practical skills needed for the labour market in these areas which results in becoming certified solar photovoltaic system technicians, as there will be a final exam to evaluate trainees and give them an experience certificates.

Target Group: Technicians and Students of Electrical, Mechanical and Energy Engineering.

Participation Requirements:

Electromechnical Background.

Expected Outcomes

1- Know the basics of electricity, solar and photovoltaic technology.

2- Know the types and parts of photovoltaic systems, related single-line electrical schemes, codes, and applicable laws.

3- Organize work in installing solar photovoltaic systems (time management, work distribution, equipment processing and tools needed for work)

4-Equipe the solar photovoltaic system installation site (studying the installation site, removing hazards and impediments from the installation site, distributing solar system components in the sites and matching it to the desired target)

5-Construct solar photovoltaic system structure (locating the basic points of the metal structure in the solar photovoltaic system, establishing the basic bases of the solar photovoltaic system, establishing the basic photovoltaic assembly bridges).

6- Install electrical system in solar photovoltaic system (inverter installation, solar panel installation and cables, system cutter installation, charging regulator installation, battery set installation).

7- Apply Experimental operation checks of solar photovoltaic systems (safety and connection verification checks, grounding inspection, voltage inspection of solar photovoltaic panel exits, battery inspection, photoelectric charging control device inspection, solar photoelectric system electrical inspection)

Duration

The programme is for two months from Sunday to Thursday each week from 12/6/2022 to 12/8/2022

Time

From 1:00 pm to 7:00 p.m.
